I would have to agree with a majority of the list...though I still can't stand any Michael Jackson music, not to mention Michael Jackson.

Revolver was revolutionary and I was quite surprised to see David Crosby's, If I Could Only Remember My Name...a true hidden gem to most people.

I would have to rate any U2 work high on the list, along with Oasis. As for Carlos, his early works were far more interesting and trend setting than Supernatural.

We've already created a post on the Sacred Cow called, "Dark Side of the Moon".

This list should keep the Flaming Lips busy pissing off a lot of purest!

I for one applaud the Vatican for releasing this list of singing sinners and saints! I'm surprised they didn't go for the Top Twelve, to honor the 12 Tribes of Israel and the Twelve Apostles.

As a music minister in the Catholic Church, you would be quite surprised by the contemporary music that is being approved to play in Mass...so don't go throwing us into the dark ages just yet!

Bono even wears a Rosary given to him by John Paul II.

John Lennon's bold statement is both true and false. It's true that the Beatles were more popular than Jesus. There will always be more things more popular than Jesus; however, Christianity will not be going away...no matter how thick and ordinary we disciples might be.

Besides, if John is indeed smiling right now...it's not because he's giving a damn about some musical list!

Sir Hook Who's As Thick As a Brick of Warrick
(P.S.
