Winter is the glad song that you hear.
Seven maids move in seven time.
Have the lads up ready in a line.
Ring out these bells.
Ring out, ring solstice bells.
Ring solstice bells.
One of my favorite Jethro Tull songs reminds us of the ancient celebration of this wondrous Knights of Moleskine, Spirit and Ale Feast Day.

As I lit the 4th candle on my Advent Wreath to my right and watched the sunrise arrive over the horizon through my Dream Catcher to my left, I joined the ancient with the Divine in a prayer of anticipation, wonder and praise:
Took an early trip down to the 'henge today...and saw the Druids do their Chanting... in the chilly morning aire.. actually it wasn't that chilly today is about 13 degrees thats why we went... took bikes down in the van and cycled the last 2 miles as all the hippies take cars these days and block up the car park. The henge is only open for an hour so everyone crowds in at once.
ReplyDeleteAlso went on to Avebury afterwards... before a nice run home, to a warm Winter Broth, that has been in the Crock Pot, while gone..:))
DO
OK, Now I'm officially jealous. Great opportunity for those who live there. Well done!
