From the land of Sir Dayvd comes another type of beer "Quest'. A database of bottled beer. I came across this site yesterday while searching for more information about Sir Dayvd's favorite brew, a Scottish Ale called McEwan's Champion Ale. He said it was hard to find in the south of England. He was correct, as usual. Probably impossible to find here in the States. So my quest begins.
The good fellows at Oxford Bottled Beer Database have comprised a list and reviews of 2,938 beers from 77 different countries, so they still have a way to go to reach the Questor's 5,000! Anyway, it's a noble endeavor and one every Knight of Moleskine, Spirit and Ale should check out. www.bottledbeer.co.uk.
Cheers!

Another site you might want to check out is the Rate Beer site. Here is a link for the Best American Beers:

I know that Sir Davyd would probably say that being the "Best American Beer" is like bragging about being the "tallest of the Seven Dwarfs," but we do okay over here.
Endeavor to Quest!
