Coverage begins today 7am on any channel you would like with Heralds from across the globe pontificating about the battle to come. By the end of the spin before the spurs dig in we will have learned more than we want, or need to know about every person, detail, etc. Thus, the great honored tradition of high-impact and violent confrontation begins! Will David beat Goliath? In this case David is the Giant and the Philistine hoard of Patriots are a united front. Will it be a replay of the English incredible defeats of the French at Agincourt and Crecy? It's a longbow shot, but everyone loves a cocky, beer drinking, lady loving under dog! So, another Super Sunday begins like most other days, with great hype and promise, a strenuous battle, and too many beers! Heres to the WINNERS, and the losers, for after all, who really loses once that get to the Superbowl?!
Keep your eyes focused at least through half time...it's Tom Petty for Christ's sake!
Sir Hook "for the Giants" of Warrick
I recommend that Sts. Crispin and Crispinian's feast, October 25, be officially named as a Holiday for your merry group.
ReplyDeleteWhile you're at it, you might as well include November 5th, which is Guy Fawke's Day in the Merrie Isles.
